Michael Robert VanBuskirk, 59, of Lower Saucon Township, died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2018 at St. Luke’s University Hospital, Fountain Hill. He was born in Palmerton on July 10, 1959 to Elaine (Weaver) VanBuskirk of Bethlehem and the late LeRoy VanBuskirk. He served our country faithfully in the U.S. Army during peacetime. Michael was an electrician for various companies in Texas and the Lehigh Valley area. Michael was an extreme Philadelphia Eagles fan.

(Peteto) VanBuskirk, all of Lower Saucon Township; siblings: Sandra Nester of Reading, Sharon (Charles Jr.) Pieller of Bethlehem, Susan of Cranston, R.I., James of Holland, Bill (Tammy) of Kresgeville, Wendy (William II) Proctor of Fayetteville, N.C.; step-siblings: Floyd (Kelly) Koehler of Lehighton, Todd Koehler of Palmerton, Lisa Koehler of Weatherly, Nevin Koehler of Palmerton; many nieces and nephews.
SERVICE
Family and friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 2, 2018 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 11 a.m. The interment will conclude services at Buena Vista Cemetery, Brodheadsville, with military honors.
