Jean L. Cawley, 97, of Quakertown, formerly of Bingen, died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2018 at her daughter’s residence in Quakertown. She was the wife of the late John Kittek Sr., John Klotz and John Cawley. She was born in Huntingdon, Pa., on Oct. 14, 1921 to the late Frank and Nellie (Rinker) Varner. Jean was a sewing machine operator for various companies. She was owner/operator of Jeans Drive In, Bethlehem (an ice cream stand) and was an in-home caretaker.

Children: John Kittek Jr. (Rena) of Nazareth, Paul Kittek (Beverly) Winter Haven, Fla., Judith Bradford (William) of Quakertown, Dianne Baus (Craig) of Allentown, Patricia Pepkowski (John) Quakertown, Sharon Fisher (George) of Breinigsville, Iris Lang (George) of Allentown; companion: Arlen Masenheimer of Lower Saucon Township; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Jean was predeceased by seven siblings and grandchildren.
SERVICE
Family and friends are invited to call from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23, 2018 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 2 p.m. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
