This Christmas season the Players of the Stage present the Charles Dickens classic “Oliver Twist” (adapted by Joellen Bland) to benefit the Allentown Rescue Mission.

Two casts of 65 young actors from six different counties are taking to the stage to raise $15,000 for the homeless and the hurting in our area.

Performances are at Living Hope Presbyterian Church, 330 Schantz Road, Allentown, at 7 p.m. Nov. 29 and 30 and Dec. 1, 6, 7 and 8. Matinee shows are at 2 p.m. Dec. 1 and Dec. 8. Seating for the performances is free, but reservations are required and donations will be accepted. All proceeds go to the Allentown Rescue Mission. For tickets, email potstickets@gmail.com

Players of the Stage is a Christian youth theater seeks to bring Light to the world of theater, to train youth to perform with excellence, to prepare the students to go out and impact God’s world and to reach the lost through dramatic portrayals of scripture and the lives of the saints.
