If you love wings, live music and enjoying a summer afternoon in one of Saucon Valley’s prettiest parks, mark your calendars.
The American Cancer Society-Berks, Lehigh and Northampton Counties announced last week that its 2nd annual Wings & Strings Festival will be held Saturday, July 27 from noon to 5 p.m. in Hellertown’s Dimmick Park.
The event will feature live musical performances by local bands, food and beverages from Lehigh Valley breweries and wineries, a chicken wing eating contest and other activities.
“We look forward to the 2nd annual event that brings our community together for great music, great food and fun, all in support of American Cancer Society’s life-saving mission,” said Jordan Fredo, Community Development Manager for the American Cancer Society–Berks, Lehigh & Northampton Counties.
A donation of $10 is suggested for entry to the event.
Proceeds from the Wings & Strings Festival will benefit American Cancer Society’s life-saving mission that includes research, services for cancer patients and programs in our community.
