Honor, Sacrifice Remembered at Hellertown Memorial Day Service

The service of the men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of the United States was remembered at the Edward H. Ackerman American Legion Post 397’s annual Memorial Day observance at Union Cemetery of Hellertown Sunday afternoon.

Attendees including many local veterans were reminded why that sacrifice should never be forgotten through speeches, song and ceremony.
