Starting this Sunday, Oct. 13, Cascade the Restaurant at Durham Springs, is introducing a new way to enjoy brunch. Guests at Cascade are offered a selection of mouth-watering small plates from roving dining carts, which allows them to sample and savor an unlimited variety of flavors. Among the dozens of small dishes presented tableside on trolleys in an “American dim-sum” style, will be Ricotta Toast with Yuzu Marmalade, Duck Confit Hash, Shrimp and Grits with Tasso Sauce and Truffle Parmesan Potatoes, as well as iconic brunch favorites such as Eggs Benedict, Belgian waffles, a Greek Yogurt Granola Parfait, fruit tarts and assorted muffins.

Executive Chef Jon McCain—an alumnus of celebrated dining spots where he cooked with culinary greats like Grant Achatz and Jean-George Vongerichten—has crafted an innovative, locally fresh menu that will delight even the most seasoned of brunchgoers.

“We wanted to reimagine the expected brunch buffet,” said Durham Springs co-owner Dan Fehlig, “and let our guests have fun exploring new tastes and finding their favorite dishes.”

Brunch is better with bubbles, and several craft cocktails will be featured including Cascade’s signature Pink Drink made with sparkling rose, Aperol, elderflower and grapefruit bitters, and of course, mimosas and Bloody Marys.
