Hellertown will kick off the 2024 holiday season with its annual tree lighting ceremony and celebration known as Light Up Night on Friday, Nov. 29 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the borough’s Dimmick Park. Hosted by the Hellertown-Lower Saucon Chamber of Commerce, this year’s event is presented by Bethlehem Landfill and Mobile Technology Graphics and supported by other local sponsors.​

The event will feature live performances, music, hot chocolate, food trucks and adult beverages available for purchase. Kids can enjoy visits with Santa, children’s activities, a corral with live reindeer and greeting strolling holiday characters. There will also be a holiday craft market offering unique gifts, cash wagon rides and pony rides.

The evening will culminate with the borough’s tree lighting ceremony and Santa’s arrival on a vintage fire truck.
