Delivery Driver’s Car Hit By Gunfire, Police Say

Authorities say a 19-year-old food delivery driver in upper Bucks County escaped injury when his vehicle was struck by a bullet Saturday night.

According to Pennsylvania State Police at Dublin, the Quakertown resident was driving in the 100 block of Cherry Street in Richlandtown borough shortly before 10 p.m. when his Honda Civic’s rear window was hit by gunfire.

Police said officers then responded to the area for a report of a disturbance.

“This appears to be an isolated incident and no threat to the public,” police said in a news release Monday.
