Anthony J. Festa (1948 – 2025)

Anthony J. Festa, 76, of Quakertown, died Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at St. Luke’s Hospice House, Lower Saucon Township. Anthony was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Oct. 1, 1948 to the late James and Theresa (Opedisano) Festa. He was a truck driver for St. Johnsbury and Preston in New York City for 40 plus years until retiring. He had also worked for Home Depot for over 25 years. Anthony loved all types of cars and going out for dinner. He was an avid New York sports fan.

SURVIVORS

Anthony is survived by his children: Theresa (Chris) Debernardo of Long Island, James of Staten Island, Anthony Jr. (Danielle) of Coopersburg, Michael of Quakertown, Nicole of Hellertown; sisters: Annette (Ernie) Nardi of Brooklyn, Joanne (Stu) Rashkin of Staten Island; six grandchildren.

SERVICES

Family and friends are invited to call from 5 to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 29, 2025 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 6 p.m. A funeral repast will be held at the Carriage House at Heintzelmans immediately following the service.
