Ermenegildo A. Verzino (1937 – 2025)
Ermenegildo A. Verzino, 87, of Springfield Township, died Friday, March 28, 2025 at his residence. He was the husband of Renee N. (Seisholtz) Verzino. Ermenegildo was born in San Marco dei Cavoti, Italy, on Aug. 28, 1937 to the late Delfino and Immacolatta (Bologna) Verzino. He was a self-employed master cabinetmaker in the Lehigh Valley area for many years. He was a faithful member of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus RC Church, Hellertown. He lived for family, especially his grandchildren and gardening. His moments of joy were playing the daily lottery.
SURVIVORS
In addition to his loving wife of 60 years March 20; children: Maria A. Verzino (Tim Mease) of Springtown, Andrea N. Verzino of Phoenix, Ariz., James “Jimmy” K. Verzino (Marnette) of Los Angeles, Calif.; grandchildren: Eleni, Lucia, Gabriella, Jovan, Kolby, Hudson, London; great-grandchildren: Luca, Romia.
SERVICES
Family and friends are invited to a visitation period from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 3, 2025 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The visitation period will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at his church, 1408 Easton Road, Hellertown. The interment will conclude services at Bethlehem Memorial Park Cemetery. A funeral repast will be held at the Carriage House at Heintzelmans immediately following the graveside service.
