Fourteen-year-old Enci “Aubrey” Wu of Palmer Township was reported missing by her parents on Friday, Jan. 10, and was last seen in the vicinity of Macarthur Road in Whitehall, Lehigh County, the following day. Authorities described her as a runaway.

According to an update shared by the Palmer Township Police Department on Crimewatch, Wu has been “found safe…in Jasper, Ga., by law enforcement authorities.”

Members of the department were present for a news conference about Wu by District Attorney Stephen Baratta held at the Northampton County Courthouse in Easton Tuesday morning.

The police department’s post said limited information is being released because there is still an active investigation into what happened.

In a separate news release, a local attorney announced Tuesday that she is representing Wu.

“As everyone in our community is, I am deeply relieved that Enci, also known as Aubrey, has been found,” said Jenna Fliszar, whose law practice is located in Allentown. “Her safety and well-being are my foremost concern. I have been in contact with the District Attorney’s Office and, at this time, we are in the process of gathering information.”

“While I will have more to say when appropriate, my focus right now remains on ensuring that Aubrey is protected and supported,” she added.

Fliszar said she was retained to represent Wu by her parents, but stressed, “I represent Aubrey alone and do not represent any other parties involved.”
