Road Work Planned on I-78

Drivers who travel on I-78 west in Northampton and Lehigh counties may encounter a lane restriction next week.

According to PennDOT, the restriction will be in effect from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., Monday, April 28 through Saturday, May 3, between the Rt. 412 (Hellertown/Bethlehem) and Rt. 309 (Quakertown/Allentown) exits.

A news release indicated that the restriction will be for concrete repairs being performed by a PennDOT contractor.
