Man Accused of Sexually Assaulting Minor in L. Saucon

A 61-year-old local man is facing charges for allegedly sexually assaulting a child in Lower Saucon Township.

According to a Crimewatch post published Thursday by the Lower Saucon Township Police Department, Henry Edward Corali–who turns 62 on Tuesday–was charged following an investigation that began in February.

Corali’s felony charges include statutory sexual assault, rape of a child, aggravated indecent assault of a child, indecent assault of a person less than 13 years of age, sexual assault, endangering the welfare of children and corruption of minors.

The police department’s post indicated that Corali lives in Bethlehem. According to a public records search, he lives in Lower Saucon Township and has a Bethlehem address.

Following a preliminary arraignment Monday before District Judge Alan Mege, Corali was released on $250,000 unsecured bail, according to court records. A preliminary hearing in his case is scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 6 at 10:30 am. before Judge Mege in Northampton County District Court 03-2-04 in Lower Saucon Township.

Corali is being represented by attorney Thomas Joachim of Bensalem, Bucks County, according to the case docket.
