Donna Jeanne Rader (Obituary Brought to You by Heintzelman Funeral Home)
Donna Jeanne Rader (1947 – 2025)

Donna Jeanne Rader passed away on Sunday, Aug. 24, 2025 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest in the loving embrace of her family. She was the devoted wife of Bruce Rader, to whom she was married for 48 years. In addition to Bruce, she is survived by her daughter Alāna Rader, her brother Daniel Deysher and niece and nephew Amy Deysher Wood and Chris Deysher, as well as their beautiful families. Donna was born in Bryn Mawr, Pa., to the late LeRohn Daniel Deysher and Abigail (McCauley) Deysher on Feb. 27, 1947. Donna attended Hellertown-Lower Saucon High School, where she followed in her musically-gifted father’s footsteps, playing trumpet in the band as well as singing in the school chorus. She went on to work at Bethlehem Steel before finding her true calling–designing and selling jewelry. As a certified Gemologist, she graded diamonds and strung pearls on silk, in addition to working in sales for over 40 years. Most recently she served as the Manager of Landau Jewelry in Allentown before retiring in 2016. An avid skier and traveler, Donna met her husband Bruce through the Ptarmigan Ski Club in Allentown in 1976. Together, they skied everywhere from the Rockies to the Alps to our humble Poconos. From her love of jewelry to her love of flowers, Donna made the world a more beautiful place with her style, beauty and inner grace.
