Students Charged Following School-Related Incidents: Police

Lower Saucon Township Police Friday announced charges against Saucon Valley students in two recent cases.

Police said on their Crimewatch site that on Aug. 27 at approximately 3:22 p.m., the department received a report of a 14-year-old boy making threats on a school bus.

Following an investigation, police said a petition was filed with Northampton County Juvenile Probation charging the teen with disorderly conduct and making terroristic threats.

In another incident which police said occurred Sept. 19 around 11:13 a.m., police said that a 14-year-old boy shoved another student at Saucon Valley Middle School.

“When a teacher intervened, the juvenile shoved the teacher multiple times,” police said in a post on their Crimewatch site.

Police said they subsequently filed a petition with Northampton County Juvenile Probation charging the boy with simple assault and harassment.
