Gloria Elaine Bruch (1928 – 2025)

Gloria Elaine Bruch, 97, formerly of Fountain Hill and Hellertown, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Nov. 16, 2025, at St. Luke’s Hospice House, with her family by her side. Born in Bethlehem on March 5, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Gerald F. and Helen J. (Donchez) Wartman. Gloria dedicated 50 years of service in the Business Office at St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill, continuing to volunteer for years after retirement. She was awarded the President’s Call to Service Award for greater than 4,000 hours of volunteer service. Gloria enjoyed a full and active life that included traveling, bowling, playing cards, painting and ceramics and gathering with friends. Her warmth and kindness was felt by all who came to know her.
SURVIVORS
She is lovingly survived by her daughters: Debra S. (Kenneth) Krizan of Whitehall and Sheryl L. Skrip of Bethlehem; her siblings: Geraldine Winchester of Bethlehem, Eleanor Nydick of Bronxville, N.Y., Roger Wartman of Willow Street, Pa.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
SERVICES
Family and friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 24, 2025, at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Altona Cemetery, Bethlehem.
