Patricia Ann Oravec (1940 – 2025)

Patricia Ann Oravec, 85, formerly of Bethlehem and most recently of Hellertown, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2025, at her home in the Borough of Hellertown, Northampton County. Born in Bethlehem on Dec. 10, 1940, Patricia was the daughter of the late Stephen J. and Mary H. (Polenchar) Oravec. She was a graduate of local schools and dedicated much of her working life to the Bethlehem Steel Medical Center, where she was employed as an Administrative Assistant for 17 years. Patricia was a member of Incarnation of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church, Bethlehem. She was known for her kindness, devotion to family and her deep love for animals, especially her cherished canine companion, Charlie.

SURVIVORS

She is survived by her children: Robert K. Coyle Jr. of Hellertown, David S. Coyle of Hellertown and William T. Bickert of Durham, N.C.; her grandson: Jacob D. Coyle; and her beloved dog: Charlie.

SERVICES

Family and friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2025, at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by a service at 11 a.m. Interment will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem. A funeral repast will be held at the Carriage House at Heintzelmans immediately following the graveside service.
