Carin Rose Volpi (1957 – 2026)

Carin Rose Volpi, 68, formerly of Colonia, N.J., where she resided for 68 years, and more recently of Bethlehem, Pa., passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, Jan. 19, 2026. Born in Jersey City, N.J., on April 8, 1957, Carin was the daughter of the late Victor J. Volpi and Regina C. Brock. She was employed for many years as a bookkeeper and office manager with Kmart Corporation in East Brunswick, N.J. Carin was a member of the Catholic faith. Carin enjoyed watching classic movies and had a deep love for animals. She was especially devoted to her beloved black Labrador retriever, Harley, who predeceased her.
SURVIVORS
She is survived by her sisters, Mary V. Neher and her husband Frank R. Neher of Hellertown, Pa., and Victoria Volpi and her husband Eric Christensen of Plainsboro, N.J. She is also survived by her cherished niece and nephew: Frank Victor Neher and his wife Samantha Schmoyer of Orefield, Pa., and Susanne R. Neher and her husband Lucas Hassel of London, England. She was also loved by her extended family in New Jersey, New Hampshire and Pennsylvania.
SERVICES
Family and friends are invited to call from 9 to 10 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 9, 2026, at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown, Pa. The calling hour will be followed by a service at 10 a.m. A funeral repast will be held at the Carriage House at Heintzelmans immediately following the memorial service. Interment will conclude services at St. Gertrude’s Cemetery, 53 Inman Ave., Colonia, N.J., at 1:30 p.m. To share an expression of sympathy with the family, please visit Heintzelmancares.com.
