Janice A. Henn (1947 – 2026)

Janice A. Henn, 78, of Lower Saucon Township, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at her residence. She was the devoted wife of Robert S. Henn, sharing 62 years of marriage and a lifetime of love that began when they were just 16 years old. Born in Allentown on May 7, 1947, Janice was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Teman) Harkovich. Janice dedicated 40 years of her life as a tax preparer with H&R Block, where she became a trusted and familiar face to many in the community before retiring. She was known for her strong work ethic, attention to detail and the kindness she showed to everyone she assisted. She had a deep love for Atlantic City, where she enjoyed spending time and making lasting memories. At home, Janice found joy in gardening and cooking, always taking pride in creating a warm and welcoming environment. She also loved to travel and experience new places. Above all, Janice cherished her family, especially the special bond she shared with her “chosen grandson,” who held a unique and treasured place in her heart.

SURVIVORS

In addition to her loving husband, Robert, she is survived by her children, Robert J. Henn of Lower Saucon Township and MarciaAnn “Marcie” (Lyle) LaBar of Bethlehem; her grandchildren, John P. LaBar, Brandon A., Christopher D., Matthew R. and Kylie E. Henn; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Neil D. Henn, and her brother, Robert Harkovich.

SERVICES

Family and friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday, March 20, 2026, at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by a service at 11 a.m. Interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
