2-Week Traffic Detour Announced in Springfield Twp.

Motorists in Springfield Township will have to content with a two-week road closure and detour in April.

According to a recent Facebook post by township police, the road closure will be on Township Road between Kunsman Road and Springhouse Lane beginning Monday, April 13.

Although the road will be closed for approximately two weeks to through traffic, local access for residents will be maintained.

The post indicated that the closure is related to infrastructure construction.

The detour in place during the road closure will include Old Bethlehem Road (Rt. 212), Slifer Valley Road, Main Street (Rt. 412) and Buckwampum Road.
