Christopher Krukowski (1948 – 2026)

Christopher Krukowski, 77, of Hellertown, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2026, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill. He was the devoted husband of Deborah L. (Buss) Krukowski, with whom he shared 55 years of loving marriage. Born in Bethlehem on Dec. 9, 1948, Chris was the son of the late Walter F. Sr. and Emely T. (Schmidt) Krukowski. He honorably served our country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. For 50 years and until his retirement, Chris worked as a Computer Operator for the former Mack Printing in Easton. A man of deep faith, he was a dedicated member of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Roman Catholic Church in Hellertown, where he spent many years volunteering in various capacities. Chris was a man of simple pleasures and a kind heart. He was an avid bird watcher and enjoyed crafting bird houses. His hands were often in the dirt of his garden, and he held a profound affection for animals, especially his beloved dog, Marty.
SURVIVORS
In addition to his loving wife; he is survived by children: Brian C. Krukowski of Hellertown, Shelly Ann Krukowski of Lower Saucon Township; brother: Walter F. “Butch” Krukowski Jr. and his wife, Barbara, of Hellertown. He was predeceased by his sister: Joan Parsons.
SERVICES
A private service will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. Interment with military honors will conclude the services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown. Expressions of sympathy may be shared at Heintzelmancares.com.
