Car’s Tires Slashed, Police Say
State police at Dublin say they’re investigating a tire-slashing incident in Richlandtown borough as a criminal mischief case.
According to a news release, a 42-year-old Doylestown man called police on the afternoon of May 12 to report that all four of the tires on his vehicle had been slashed by “an unknown individual…at an unknown time.”
Police identified the vehicle as a 2008 gray Hyundai Tucson and said it was parked on E. Union Street at the time.
The release indicated that the replacement cost for the damaged tires was over $700.
Police did not say whether any suspects in the case have been identified.
