Enjoy a Free Movie in Steel City Park Thursday

A rescheduled event is on the calendar for Thursday, July 23 in Lower Saucon Township.

Disney’s Zootopia 2 will be shown in Steel City Park at 7:30 p.m. as part of the township’s annual Movies in the Park free series.

According to a township email, series sponsor Mobile Technology Graphics will be bringing their “big LED screen” for the showing, which will also feature a visit by CND Ice Cream from 6 to 8 p.m. The first 40 kids to check in will also receive a coupon for a free frozen treat from CND.

The final Movie in the Park this year is Lilo & Stitch (2025), which is scheduled for Friday, Aug. 21 at Polk Valley Park.

Residents planning to attend should bring blankets or folding chairs for seating. The park’s address is 2122 Riverside Drive, Bethlehem, PA 18015.

In addition to Mobile Technology Graphics, the 2026 series is presented with support from Goudsouzian & Associates, Bethlehem Landfill, Steel Club, Hanover Engineering Associates, SFM Consulting and Christ Lutheran Hellertown.
