Jacqueline Doris Koder (née Reichard), 91, passed away peacefully on Feb. 9, 2026, in Windermere, Florida. Born on Oct. 23, 1934, in Coopersburg, Pa., she was the daughter of Lloyd and Elda (Miller) Reichard. Jacqueline graduated from Coopersburg High School and continued her education at West Chester State Teachers College. She dedicated over 30 years to teaching elementary school students in the Southern Lehigh School District, most notably as a kindergarten teacher at Liberty Bell Elementary School. Jacqueline shared 58 years of marriage with her husband, Edward “Skip” Koder, before his passing. Together, they enjoyed a life filled with love and adventure, including over 40 cruises. In retirement, they moved to Southern Pines, N.C., where they embraced an active lifestyle at Hyland Hills Golf Club. She was an avid reader and a talented needleworker who excelled in sewing, knitting, quilting, crocheting and cross-stitch. Faith played a central role in Jacqueline’s life. She was a devoted member of St. James Lutheran Church in Coopersburg and later Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Southern Pines, where she sang in the church choir.

SURVIVORS

Jacqueline is survived by her sister-in-law Annie Tilley of Coopersburg and many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers Jim Tilley; Rodney “Luke” Reichard and his wife Barbara; Dorsey Reichard and his wife Delphine; as well as her nephew Tom Tilley.
