● NEW DISTRICT SEAL: The Saucon Valley School District has adopted a new district seal as part of a broader branding initiative designed to strengthen the district’s identity while honoring its longstanding traditions. The seal incorporates meaningful elements that pay tribute to the district’s heritage and other historic identifiers that have long been associated with the district. The “H” represents its past and Hellertown High School’s first graduating class of 1898. The “SV” represents what the district is today: Three schools under the umbrella of Saucon Valley School District. The burning torch, branches, book and scroll symbolize the district’s continuous commitment to academic excellence and achievement of its mission to prepare students to become creative problem-solvers, makers and citizens. A committee made up of school board members, teachers, staff and community members spent nearly two years discussing history, fine-tuning concepts and laying the foundation for the new seal, in which the beloved Panther mascot remains an essential part of the Saucon Valley brand. The new District seal will serve as the official mark for district administration, schools, academic initiatives, board communications and other official district business. It will begin appearing on official publications, news releases and other communications throughout the coming school year.
