Eyewear Retailer Warby Parker Coming to Promenade

A popular eyewear retailer will open a store in the Promenade Saucon Valley next year, officials with shopping center said Thursday.

Warby Parker plans to open its second Lehigh Valley store in a suite next to Athleta, according to a news release. The company already has a store at the Lehigh Valley Mall in Whitehall which opened in 2022.

Glasses-wearers can look forward to a customer-centric shopping experience, the news release said. It noted that in addition to fashionable prescription eyewear, Warby Parker also sells sunglasses, contact lenses and comprehensive vision-related services.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Warby Parker to Promenade Saucon Valley,” Promenade General Manager Patrick Turner said. “Warby Parker is a highly recognized brand that brings together style, quality and an innovative approach to vision care, making it a great addition to our growing mix of retailers and services.”

Founded in 2010 and headquartered in New York City, Warby Parker currently operates approximately 350 stores in the U.S. and Canada.

News of the 2027 comes as Promenade Saucon Valley is celebrating its 20th anniversary. The Center Valley lifestyle center that is home to dozens of retail shops, restaurants and service-oriented businesses opened in October 2006 as the area’s first outdoor shopping center.
