The Lower Saucon Township Police Department is now providing a way for the public to stay informed about crime and reportable car crashes in the township: an online crime map called Community Crime Map that maps crime, provides information and is updated daily.

Users can view the map and grid with all of the crimes in their area, sign up for neighborhood watch reports that automatically email a breakdown of recent crime activity and submit an anonymous tip about a crime directly to the police department.

Community Crime Map geocodes crime data and then displays the incidents on a map, grid and analytics dashboard, along with some basic information about the incidents, including the type of crime, location type, block-level address date and time of occurrence.

Users can select specific viewing sites by entering a municipality, an address or a zip code. They can also select crimes they are interested in viewing as well as a date range and radius.
