Ruth C. (Werkheiser) Wirth Posch (1931 – 2025)
Ruth C. (Werkheiser) Wirth Posch, 93, of Upper Nazareth Township, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Aug. 9, 2025, at Gracedale Nursing Home, Nazareth. Born in Lower Saucon Township on Aug. 31, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Robert U. Werkheiser Sr. and Beatrice A. (Masters) Werkheiser. Ruth was the beloved wife of the late Earl Wirth and later, the late Edward Posch. She was employed as an assembler at B. Braun Medical for 10 years, retiring in 1994. Ruth was a devoted member of New Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lower Saucon Township. She was also a former member of Christ Lutheran Church of Lower Saucon, where she served faithfully as a choir member, Sunday School teacher and member of the church’s Hospitality Committee.

SURVIVORS
Ruth is survived by her daughter: Nancy L. Moyer of Lower Saucon Township; siblings: Sterling Werkheiser of Palmyra and Elizabeth Zellner of Bethlehem; grandchildren: Edward H. Moyer III and Crystal Moyer. She was preceded in death by her daughter: Beverly A. Wirth; and siblings: James Werkheiser, Robert Werkheiser Jr., John Werkheiser and Beatrice Nemetz.
SERVICES
Family and friends are invited to her visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2025 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The visitation period will be followed by the service at 11 a.m. A funeral repast will be held at the Carriage House at Heintzelmans after the service.
