What are Giant’s 2025 Holiday Hours?

The Christmas and New Year’s holidays are fast approaching. For many people, that will mean extensive cooking and baking, and stocking up on all of the necessary ingredients beforehand. For last minute additions, it pays to know ahead of time when stores will close on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve so you don’t end up dashing through the snow to find the doors locked.

Giant is the only major grocery store in the Hellertown and Coopersburg areas, which means that many residents of the Saucon Valley and Southern Lehigh areas rely on it for last minute purchases.

According to a company email, all Giant stores will have the following 2025 holiday hours:

Christmas Eve (Wednesday, Dec. 24) – Stores open until 6 p.m. and pharmacies open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Christmas Day (Thursday, Dec. 25) – Stores and pharmacies will be closed
New Year’s Eve (Wednesday, Dec. 31) – Stores open until 8 p.m. and pharmacies open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
New Year’s Day (Thursday, Jan. 1) – Stores open regular hours; pharmacies will be closed

Giant’s regular hours in Hellertown are 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. The Hellertown Giant pharmacy is open Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Giant’s regular hours in Coopersburg are 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. The Coopersburg Giant pharmacy has the same hours as Hellertown.
