With their “Eat Real Food” Mobile Market, however, Kellyn staff and volunteers are bringing locally-grown, nutritious options directly to the food deserts and the consumers who most need them. Our guest explains how they do that, winning over hearts and minds with a combination of education and delicious food options. Those options include Kellyn Lifestyle Medicine Meals, which are the mobile market’s whole food, plant-based meals. Packed with fiber, phytonutrients and protein, they’re a healthier alternative than what’s typically found in the convenience stores that supply food to food desert residents.
