Gatsby found himself at the shelter after being abandoned on Center for Animal Health and Welfare property and caught in a TNR (trap-neuter-release) trap. He is still learning to trust people, but with lots of patience and plenty of TLC he hopes to become the lovebug you desire!

If you want a lovebug, Elmer is the perfect guy for you! He is a very mellow, docile boy who's looking for a quiet home where he can dream of fields of catnip.

Pets in Need of Homes: Brownie (Brought to You by A Furry Tail Come True)

Brownie is a six-year-old Brittany/Pointer mix with a ready smile and a waggin' tail. He has been a resident of the Center for Animal Health and Welfare since Nov. 27, 2018, and would do best in a home without small children.

An upcoming event in Hellertown will benefit the largest animal shelter in Northampton County. 'Dressed to the K-9's,' a fundraiser for the Center for Animal Health & Welfare, will be held at Steel Club Nov. 30.

Pets in Need of Homes: Mya (Brought to You by A Furry Tail Come True)

Four-and-a-half year-old Mya came to the Center for Animal Health and Welfare when her dad was deployed. At first she would fight with the other cats, but now she is doing much better. She still would prefer to be your "one and only" but could tolerate another quiet cat.

Harley is a 5-year-old Miniature Pinscher who came to the shelter when his owner had a change in lifestyle. He is friendly with other dogs, easygoing and sweet.

Pets in Need of Homes: Mr. Frosty (Brought to You by A Furry Tail Come True)

Mr. Frosty is a seven-year-old terrier mix who was found as a stray in Bethlehem. Mr. Frosty would prefer to be the only dog in his new home. He loves to give kisses and is ready for lots of love.

Betsy is a three-year-old Dachshund mix whose time was up at another shelter. She is happy to now be at the Center for Animal Health and Welfare, where she is doing well.
