Wilson I. Wimmer, 90, of Palmer Township, died Monday, Jan. 28, 2019 at St. Luke’s University Hospital, Anderson Campus. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., Hellertown.
A Hellertown man is facing attempted robbery and other charges after police say he used a knife to try and rob the Walgreens drugstore at 2535 William Penn Highway in Palmer Township at around 4:20 a.m. Saturday.
