Buy Advance Tickets for Friday’s Football Game

After winning the District XI AAA football championship Saturday in Lehighton, the Saucon Valley Panthers are advancing to the first round of the PIAA State tournament, in which they’ll play Scranton Prep at Valley View Area High School Stadium (John Henzes Veterans Memorial Stadium), 800 Main St., Peckville, on Friday Nov. 27 at 7 p.m.

Advance tickets can be purchased at the Saucon Valley High School Athletic Office Monday, Nov. 23 until 6 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 24 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Wednesday, Nov. 25 from 8 to 11 a.m., when ticket sales will conclude early because of the Thanksgiving holiday.

Advance tickets are $6 for adults or $3 for students (there is no senior citizen discount for PIAA state playoff games). All tickets purchased at the gate will be $6.

If the Panthers win Friday, their next game would be in the quarterfinal round of the tournament and would be played Friday, Dec. 4 or Saturday, Dec. 5 at a location yet to be determined.
