Attorney Wins LST Council Democratic Primary, Will Challenge 2 Incumbents

An Allentown attorney and Lower Saucon Township resident ran unopposed on the Democratic primary election ballot for a seat on township council, and will face off against incumbent Republican councilmen Glenn Kern and Ron Horiszny–both of whom are running for re-election–in the November general election.

An Allentown attorney and Lower Saucon Township resident ran unopposed in the Democratic primary election for a seat on township council, and will face off against incumbent Republican councilmen Glenn Kern and Ron Horiszny–both of whom are seeking re-election–in the November general election.

Ryan Stauffer

With all eight precincts reporting vote totals, Ryan Stauffer, 40, had received a total of 540 votes in the Democratic primary, according to unofficial Northampton County election results.

Stauffer is an associate attorney specializing in commercial litigation at the law firm Gross McGinley, LLP, and a graduate of the University of California, Irvine School of Law, according to his LinkedIn profile, which also states that he is a Muhlenberg College graduate (Class of 2007) and a Saucon Valley High School graduate.

On the Republican ballot, Kern received 463 votes (53.53 percent) and Horiszny received 400 votes (46.24 percent), according to unofficial county vote totals.
