Longwood Gardens is a world-renowned horticultural destination developed by Pierre S. du Pont at the beginning of the 20th century. The gardens–which are spread across more than 1,000 acres in Kennett Square, near Philadelphia–are a year-round attraction, but the Christmas season is a truly a special time to see them.
