Bethlehem Man Flipped Car on Flint Hill Road, Police Say

Lower Saucon Township Police said Sunday night that a driver who was involved in an accident Sunday morning on Flint Hill Road near Scenic View Lane has been cited for allegedly driving at an unsafe speed and failing to maintain a single lane of travel.

In a news release, police said Stuart Hutchinson, of the 500 block of Wood Street, Bethlehem, drove off Flint Hill Road, struck a street sign, and then hit a tree, overturning his vehicle in the process.

When police responded to the accident scene shortly before 10 a.m. they said Hutchinson was still inside the overturned vehicle.

The news release did not indicate whether Hutchinson suffered any injuries.
