Loretta E. (Hafner) Becker, 84, of Hellertown, died Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Joseph N. Becker Jr. (died May 31, 2003). She was born in Bethlehem on Feb. 11, 1930 to the late Herman and Helen (Diehl) Hafner. She worked for Lehigh fraternity Phi Sigma Kappa as a housekeeper for many years until retiring. Her prior employment included work at SureFit Manufacturing, Bethlehem. Loretta was a member of the Church of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus, Hellertown.

Loving children: John J. “Jack” Becker and his wife Dianne L. “Dee” of Hellertown, Carol A. wife of Joseph A. Dotter of Greentown; grandchildren: John, Dan, Keri, Jackie, Jen, Joey; great-grandchildren: Joe, Gabe, Kylie, Bree, Aiden, Hailey, Patrick, Tyler, Jake, Blake. She was predeceased by a brother: Karl “Bud” Hafner.
SERVICE
Family and friends are invited to call from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 29, 2014 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
