The Northampton County Department of Community and Economic Development has announced that it will host an e-cycling (electronics recycling) event for county residents at ArtsQuest/SteelStacks, E. First Street, Bethlehem, on Saturday, April 18 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
For a list of acceptable/unacceptable items, residents should refer to the event flyer from the county and AERC Recycling Solutions.
Although many items can be e-cycled for free, residents will be charged a nominal fee (payable to AERC with cash only) to recycle the following items:
- TVs $20
- CRT Monitors $10
- LCD Monitors $5
- Batteries, all types except lead acid $0.75/pound
- Fluorescent lamps $0.25/each
- Ballasts $0.75/pound
