A 19-year-old Upper Saucon Township man was charged with harassment via communication after he allegedly sent threatening messages to an 18-year-old Hellertown woman and a 17-year-old boy from Lower Saucon Township on March 8, Lower Saucon police said in a news release Friday.

According to police, Devin Haverty, of the 6600 block of Limeport Pike, threatened to “kick in” the woman’s teeth and told the boy he “needed a good butt kicking.”

Police didn’t say in the news release what prompted the alleged threats.

They said the charges filed against Haverty are a third degree misdemeanor.

They added that a protection from abuse (PFA) order against him was granted.
