Est. Read Time: < 1 min

Lower Saucon Township Police are investigating an accident in which they say an unknown driver backed over a mailbox and damaged a resident’s light post in the 4100 block of Sherry Hill Road Thursday.

In a news release issued Wednesday, police said the accident happened in the early morning hours of March 12.

Authorities noted that the mailbox was first backed over.

“The same vehicle did then pull/back up the driveway and strike a wired light post,” they added.

Anyone with information about the accident–which is being investigated as a case of criminal mischief–is asked to call township police at 610-317-6110.
