5K Flyer

A 5K race that’s planned for Saturday, May 16 in Hellertown will benefit Relay for Life of Saucon Valley and the American Cancer Society.

To make the second annual “Fight to the Finish” 5K even more memorable, it will have a “Totally 80s” theme, according to an event flyer that encourages participants to break out their leg warmers, headbands and other ’80s inspired outfits for the run.

The race will begin at 8:30 a.m. at Dimmick Park (Tobias Drive and Durham Street) and will be a state-of-the-art run featuring:

  • Chip timing with real-time results via kiosks
  • Results access via smartphone and other connected devices

The cost for early bird registration (through May 1) is $25, and each participant who registers by May 1 will receive a free race shirt. Pre-registration is $30, and walk-up registration (Friday, May 15 from 6 to 9 p.m. and race day) is $40.

Male and female overall winners as well as winners in various age categories (including 14 and under) will be recognized.
