William D. Schadt, 79, of Hellertown, died Monday, June 22, 2015 at his residence. He was the husband of Charlene V. (Kepfer) Schadt. William was born in Allentown on Feb. 1, 1936 to the late Walter and Mildred (Siegfried) Schadt. He served our country faithfully in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force during the Korean and Vietnam wars. William worked for the former M. Wood Company as a Food Service Director for many years. He was a member of many social organizations in Hellertown.
SURVIVORS
In addition to his loving wife of 30 years; children: Glenn (Rebecca Duke-Schadt) Schadt of Florida, Michael (Amy Clement-Schadt) Schadt of Connecticut, Edward Seidel and Corinna Seidel-Kline, both of Hellertown; sister: Diane Handwerk of Summerville; seven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter. He was predeceased by children: Larry Weiss, Randy Schadt; sister: Anita Mertz.
