Man Who Crashed Car Had .23 Percent BAC, Police Say

Lower Saucon Township Police said Monday that a Palmer Township man was charged with DUI after he allegedly crashed his vehicle along Riverside Drive.

In a news release, police said Hernan Caques, of the 3300 block of Bridlepath Road, was found with the vehicle shortly after 2 a.m. Aug. 2.

Police said Caques’ blood alcohol concentration (BAC) was determined to be .23 percent, which is nearly three times the legal limit of .08 percent.
