Tires Slashed on Main Street, Police Say

Hellertown Police said Tuesday that two tires on a vehicle parked overnight in a parking lot were slashed in the 200 block of Main Street late last week.

In a news release, police said the tires were punctured sometime between 10:30 p.m. Thursday and 9:48 a.m. Friday, when the incident was reported.

At around the same time, a resident of Pine Court, Society Hill in Lower Saucon Township reported to township police that a tire on his vehicle was slashed.

Anyone with information about the Main Street tire-slashing is asked to call borough police at 610-838-7040.
