Man Who Allegedly Harassed Coworker in Store Bathroom Later Returned to Shop, Police Say

A Giant Food Store employee who was charged last week with harassment and disorderly conduct and ordered by Lower Saucon Township Police not to return to the store until management contacted him about the status of his job will be charged with defiant trespassing, police said Wednesday, after he allegedly returned to the store to shop.

In a news release, police said Mehdi Pour, 32, of the 1500 block of Crest Park Court, Bethlehem, was witnessed by two store employees shopping in the supermarket in the Creekside Marketplace shopping center, 1880 Leithsville Road, on two separate occasions Monday.

Pour is accused of following a colleague into a female employee restroom and then attempting to force his way into a bathroom stall where she was preparing to change out of her work uniform on the night of Aug. 28.

The employee stated that prior to the alleged incident, she and Pour had “had no…relationship or even a greeting exchange of any sort.”

Police said that on Monday they reiterated to Pour that he is not permitted on store property, where the alleged victim in the earlier case is still employed.

“He was also informed that there are plenty of other grocery stores in the areas,” police added.
