A two-vehicle rollover accident closed a section of Reservoir Road near Wassergass Road in Lower Saucon Township shortly before 3 p.m. Thursday.

Sirens could be heard throughout the Hellertown area as police and emergency responders raced to the scene of the wreck, which is near the eastern edge of Silver Creek Country Club.
A witness at the scene, Glenn Hoffert of Lower Saucon, said there did not appear to be any injuries.
Hoffert said one of the drivers involved in the accident was heard explaining that he was northbound in a white Mitsubishi when he slowed to turn left and lost control of his vehicle as he braked, veering toward the road’s center line and into the path of a southbound Honda Pilot that was struck.
The Pilot rolled over and ended up on an embankment along one side of the road, across from and south of where the Mitsubishi came to rest.
