Saucon Valley School District officials announced Friday that a section of Easton Road between Ringhoffer Road and Countryside Lane will be closed for road work for several weeks beginning Monday, Oct. 26.
“This will effect (sic) several bus runs and you will be notified of the changes from the transportation department,” the school district said in a news alert that went out to parents.
According to township officials, the work near the I-78 overpass is being done to repair a sinkhole.
PennDOT is planning to dig out a defective pipe and replace it with a new pipe, according to the minutes from an early October township council meeting.
