Box Truck Hit Car and Never Stopped, Police Say

Lower Saucon Township Police are hoping to identify the driver of a large white box truck they say struck a car at Leithsville and Apples Church roads and didn’t stop Thursday.

In a news release issued Friday, police said the accident happened at 11:26 a.m., when a southbound car approached the intersection and the truck made a left turn onto Apples Church and into its path.

Police said a Morristown, N.J., couple was in the car.

Anyone with information about the crash or who may have witnessed it is asked to call township police at 610-317-6110.
