SV Resident Collecting Donations for Homeless, Animal Shelters

people-850097_1280

A Hellertown resident is working hard to help brighten the holidays for area residents–and even pets–in need.

Amy Campbell-Musser is collecting donations for both the Center for Animal Health and Welfare–a no-kill animal shelter in Williams Township–and Safe Harbor Homeless Shelter in Easton. She will deliver the donations to both organizations before Christmas, as she has done in years past.

Campbell-Musser said the Center for Animal Health and Welfare needs clean
blankets, towels, sheets, pillowcases, wash cloths, dog and cat beds, pillows, bleach, all-purpose cleaner, laundry detergent, dish soap, paper towels, dry food for dogs and cats (Purina One is the preferred cat food but the center will certainly accept other types), wet cat food, cat litter (which is often in short supply), cat treats, toys and monetary donations.

The Center for Animal Health and Welfare also has a wish list posted on Amazon Prime.

The Safe Harbor Homeless Shelter needs men’s and women’s coats (for all weather), hats, gloves, scarves, boots and socks, as well as toiletries such as  toothpaste, toothbrushes, cotton swabs, soap, bandages and other personal care/first aid items.

Amy will also be donating pre-packaged cookies to their kitchen.

To arrange to drop off a donation at her home or have her come pick it up please call 484-554-6299 or email angelblessings999@gmail.com. All donations must be received by Amy by Dec. 22.
