Leithsville Woman Overdosed on Heroin, Police Say

Lower Saucon Township Police said Wednesday that charges have been filed against two residents of the 1900 block of Leithsville Road following an overdose by one of them on Jan. 16.

Lower Saucon Township Police said Wednesday that charges have been filed against a resident of the 1900 block of Leithsville Road following an alleged heroin overdose by one of them Jan. 16.

In a news release, police said officers were dispatched to the residence of Brenda Frey, 43, shortly after 4:30 p.m. “for a suspected overdose.”

“Upon arrival officers located Brenda Frey laying on the floor in the kitchen,” the release stated. “Officers were advised that (she) was overdosing on heroin (and) Brenda was rushed to the hospital for care.”

Police said drug paraphernalia was found inside the home. Related charges have been filed against Frey, they added.
